With the new Automotive Business Center in Bratislava, YFAI drives European growth — and offers attractive, international career opportunities

On May 18, 2017, Yanfeng Automotive Interiors (YFAI) officially opened its new Automotive Business Center in the heart of Bratislava, Slovakia. It delivers core business process capabilities in purchasing, finance, accounting, program management and quality, as well as human resources, for Yanfeng Automotive Interiors globally.  

Originally set up in 2007, the Automotive Business Center has grown steadily over the past decade. It has now relocated to a cutting-edge work environment at the new Twin City business complex in the center of Slovakia’s capital, providing space for the further expansion of its team. The company is planning to significantly increase its workforce here, and aims to fill over 50 new positions for professionals with mainly financial and accounting backgrounds by 2018.

Unlike many other global companies, YFAI counts on local management for driving its European business operations. The new center, where the management consists entirely of Slovak nationals, is a perfect example of how the company is creating opportunities for local talent to advance in an international environment.

The Automotive Business Center is part of the company’s investments in support of its growth plans in Europe. YFAI is expanding its Central and Eastern European footprint, which will soon comprise three locations in Slovakia, two in the Czech Republic and one in Hungary. Thanks to this strong presence, the company will be able to meet all customer requirements in the region.
