Job Summary:

The Team Leader supports a production line or specific area to ensure customer specifications are met in a safe and efficient manner. Leads a team of employees by communicating company goals, safety practices, quality standards and production targets.

Essential functions of the job:

• Assist personnel planning and deployment scheduling in cooperation with the Production Supervisor.Facilitates job rotations throughout the shift. 
• Provide relevant information for daily start-up meeting. 
• Ensure HSE and 5-S policies and standards are followed. 
• Train new operators according to current ODS to ensure standardized work procedures are followed. 
• Monitor hourly productionindicator to ensure customer requirements and plant objectives are met. 
• Responsible for verifying quality system documentation including first piece, poka-yokes, and redrabbits.

Required Education:

• High School Graduate 
• *Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.

Required qualifications:

• 1 -3 Minimum Years of Manufacturing Experience. 
• Less Than1 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
