Our supplier are key partners, as well an important resource for Yanfeng Automotive Interiors. Supplier communications is an interactive platform for communication between Yanfeng Automotive Interiors and our suppliers.  YFAI confidential information will be posted in a secure area of the Supplier section. The YFAI Supplier-Confidential Page requires a User name / password for access.

Supplier communications and supporting documentation for the IQS application.

Yanfeng Global Automotive Interiors (YFAI) is implementing IQS, a new cloud based application, as a way to ensure a best in class Quality Management System (QMS). IQS will provide improved communication and collaboration with our supply base and is a significant upgrade from our legacy systems.  Our QMS tool has no cost for our supplier contacts to respond or upload requested information, such as certifications, through an embedded link in an email sent from [email protected].  Please add this email address to the trusted contact list.  Our suppliers will also have easy access to their real time, broadened Performance Scorecard if our plants issue a nonconformance. Your designated contacts will receive a monthly copy.

Suppliers can complete a self-study video, and submit a help ticket for any technical issues at the dedicated YFAI IQS Support Center which is located here:  https://iqssupplier.zendesk.com/hc/en-us

YFAI Supplier Self Service Portal (SSSP):  In order to better collaborate with our supplier partners, Yanfeng Global Automotive Interiors (YFAI) has launched our new SUPPLIER SELF SERVICE PORTAL (SSSP) for our facilities Please see the communication letter below regarding the YFAI Supplier Self Service Portal.  This site is now available for all sites w/in YFAI's NEW system (see summary below for specific sites).  Also see file below for further instructions/details.

YFAI Mexico - specific: YFAI Addenda: YFAI has developed our own Addenda structure as part of the XML documents.  This pertains to those suppliers located in Mexico that invoice to our YFAI Mexico entities.  The new Addenda is available for use immediately. The use of this Addenda will result in decreased invoice processing time and possible payment delays.  Please contact your buyer if you have not received the announcement document and the Addenda technical information.

Tier 2 Expectations

Growing and maintaining a diverse supply chain is a business imperative. This is why we expect our supply base to adopt supplier diversity best practices into their own procurement process.

The following are measured annually through a supplier scorecard and recognition program:

• Submit an annual business plan to develop and increase diverse spend
• Report quarterly diverse spend with a 5% goal
• Identify an internal supplier diversity coordinator
• Become a national or regional member at one of our preferred organizations (see above)
• Active participation at industry outreach events and tradeshows

We facilitate Tier 2 business training sessions to help our suppliers achieve and exceed their diverse spend goals.

Yanfeng Automotive Interiors expects our suppliers to conduct their operations in a socially and environmentally responsible manner including compliance to all applicable laws and regulations.

Conflict Minerals

In July 2010, US law: Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act began to be enforced . The new law imposes requirements relating to “Conflict Minerals”. Conflict minerals are “minerals mined in conditions of armed conflict and human rights abuses…” The law focuses on 4 Minerals which are source of Tantalum, Tin, Tungsten & Gold (often called as “3TG”). Automotive Industry issued official letter via AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group) in 2011 which communicates expectations related to reporting and disclosure requirements for conflict minerals and human right abuses. Companies listed on NY SC (New York Stock Exchange) have duties to provide report to US authorities therefore customers e.g. Honda, Ford, GM, Toyota expect Conflict Minerals reporting from Yanfeng Automotive Interiors (YFAI). In order to meet our various customer’s expectations YFAI must collect relevant Conflict Minerals information from our supplier chain.
