Supervisory Capacity:    ​Direct Reports:  20+​ 

• Plan and schedule personnel in cooperation with the Production Manager (i.e. vacation, temporary workers, overtime work)
• Provide production expectations and quality feedback to teammembers in daily start up meeting. 
• Monitor daily established production requirementsthroughout the shift to ensure customer requirements and plant objectives are met while ensuring HSE and 5S policies and standards are followed. 
• Train and monitor employee performanceto ensure operator is certified and operator training matrix is updated and meeting departmental targets. 
• Compile KPI data and populate end of shift report.  Distribute to manager and appropriate operations and support personnel.   
• Ensure job training and daily job rotations are in place and enforced
• Monitor quality of product throughout the production process. 
• Participates in Team Leader meetings and Quality initiatives. 
• Daily review of process and people to identify and implement CI opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent

Experience | Skills | Knowledge: 

• ​​3-5​ Minimum Years of Experience with Production with at least 2 years in a Supervisor role
• ​​1-3​ Minimum Years of Supervisor Experience within the automotive industry. 
• Justin Time (JIT) environment experience
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces. 
• Computer literacy
• Excellent oral communication skills. 
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
• Proficient organizational skills
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
