Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead one part of our maintenance team that is in charge for one building in our plant. In this role, you will coordinate maintenance activities, support continuous improvement initiatives, and work closely with Engineering and Production teams to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Production Engineer regarding equipment, production line, and facility modifications.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance personnel responsible for electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment failures.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Beta Tech, Atlas Copco, and Allen Bradley systems, including implementing system modifications and upgrades in accordance with operational requirements.
- Coordinate the dismantling, installation, assembly, and commissioning of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Support the maintenance and operation of HVAC systems, security systems, and other facility equipment.
- Work with the Engineering Manager to identify, develop, and implement equipment improvements and engineering changes.
- Review production schedules and estimate labor requirements to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Prepare and submit monthly maintenance performance reports to the Engineering Manager.
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, work orders, and maintenance documentation, assigning tasks accordingly.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and related documentation.
- Establish and optimize maintenance procedures to support production deadlines and maximize equipment availability.
- Recommend improvements to production processes, equipment performance, reliability, and product quality.
- Support the onboarding, training, and technical development of Maintenance Technicians.
- Participate in regular departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Recommend changes to equipment utilization, work methods, and operating conditions to improve plant efficiency and productivity.
- Analyzeoperational issues, resolve maintenance-related problems, and support the team in achieving performance objectives.
- Coordinate activities with supervisors from other departments to ensure efficient cross-functional operations.
- Monitor maintenance activities to ensure compliancewith company standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
- Provide ongoing operational and technical support to the Engineering Manager.
- Manage and monitor multiple maintenance budget categories, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent Level 6 or 7 qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5–8 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
