Senior CMM Programmer & Operator
United States - MI - Harrison Township

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional layouts and testing in support of production and launch activities
  • Generate and distribute layout and test reportsupon completion
  • Maintain accurate and organized layout and inspection records
  • Support root cause analysis and problem-solving for dimensional issues
  • Conduct gage studiesand manage gage tracking software
  • Ensure all lab equipment and gages remain calibrated andcertified per plant and customer requirements
  • Support or perform Lab Supervisor duties asassigned by management
  • Maintain a clean, organized lab environment in accordance with 5Sprinciples
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of gages received from other facilities
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements to increase layout efficiency
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years CMM Programming
  • Relevant work experience in metrology, quality, or manufacturingenvironments preferred
  • Familiarity with gage management systems and calibration processes
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Equivalent work experience may beconsidered in lieu of formal education.
