Job Description
We are seeking amotivated team member to join our team at BU Yanfeng International Automotive Technology (YFAI) Serbia d.o.o., Kragujevac
Main Responsibilities:
• Responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of customer orders and timely procurement of materials to support uninterrupted production and supply continuity.
• Analyzed customer forecasts and evaluated internal and supplier capacity to ensure optimal production and supply planning.
• Calculated resulting requirements for raw materials, WIP, purchased components, and packaging using MRP methodology.
• Coordinated material availability, inventory flow, and transportation activities, while proactively preventing material obsolescence and excess inventory.
• Monitored and communicated short-term and long-term customer demand, translating requirements into effective production plans.
• Developed and led initiatives to improve or establish efficient material and production planning procedures, increasing operational efficiency.
• Collaborated cross-functionally with colleagues to plan and coordinate inventory levels in accordance with company policies.
• Contributed to building a stable logistics and supply chain structure to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Coordinated with freight forwarders and logistics service providers (LSPs)regarding customs documentation and ensured compliance with customs and commercial regulations.
• Maintained documentation for all inbound and outbound shipments and reviewed transportation and delivery plans with logistics providers at the operational level.
• Ensured cost-efficienttransportation, monitoring and controlling freight costs.
• Fulfilled requirements of customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders by applying BOS, YFMS, and other corporate standards.
• Ensured compliance with BOS, SOX, and internal plant procedures.
• Supported new programlaunches (GPM) and the establishment of external warehouses and logistics processes.
• Assisted in improving supplier service performance, resolving LSP disputes, and managing logistics-relatedclaims.
• Coordinated and validated internal and external operational data with departmentssuch as procurement, finance, and sales, while addressing open issues with customers and internal teams.
• Prepared relevant logistics and transportation data for procurement to support carrierand LSP tender processes, including analysis of received offers.
• Utilized customer portalsand managed returnable packaging/container ordering.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Level IV of qualification
- Proficient in MS Office (Wordand Excel) with the ability to effectively analyze operational data and manage time-sensitive orders.
- English language proficiency required.
- Experienced in supply chain operationsand inventory control, preferably within repetitive manufacturing environments and just-in-time production processes.
- Able to work effectively in fast-paced and frequently changing environments, while maintaining strong focus on accuracy, documentation control, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates clear and precise communication skills, both written and verbal, with colleagues and management.
