Yanfeng Safety Systems is looking for Quality Engineer who will be responsible forthe continuous improvement of work outputs to achieve MEQ quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of all Manufacturing outputs to achieve MEQ quality standards (e.g., RPPM, CPPM, IPPM, SPPM, Cost of Quality, customer product audits, and warranty/JD Power metrics)
• Ensuresthat quality control issues identified by customers or internally are resolved using corporate problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D reports, Problem Solving Document “PSD,” PCAD, Kepner-Tregoe, etc.)
• Prepares necessary corrective and preventive actions; monitors, verifies, and approvestheir implementation
• Ensures that all quality control activities are conducted in compliance with BOS, TS 16949, ISO 9000, IATF standards, and specific customer requirements
• Represents the plant within the SDT team for assigned programs and ensures execution of plant-related PRPtasks
• Manages the customer part approval process and ensures customer acceptance
• Maintains and controls documentation related to customer part approvals
• Maintains customer-approved part samples

Requirements:

• Level VI orVII qualification (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• Experience in similar positions
• Specialized education and training in quality control disciplines, including at minimum IATF, QS 9000, Continuous Improvement, Total Quality Management (TQM), PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, DOE, and SPC)
