Job Description
The Deputy Plant Manager guides and directs the objectives of the organization, as well as is responsible for ensuring that the results are met in accordance with the strategic plans and established standards, to manage the company's resources, ensuring that they are met, achieve the strategic objectives of the business.
Supervisory Capacity: Reports Directos: 6-10
- Determine and execute the administrative policies of the organization.
- Comply with the company's indicators through management andsupervision of the monitoring of the systems implemented by the organization.
- Establish, monitor and report on team KPIs related to production, training, employee engagement anduse data to drive continuous improvement in departmental performance and culture.
- Partner with HR to support onboarding, succession planning and talent pipeline development within the department to align with organizational goals.
- Champion the training and professional development of the department team members by identifying skills gaps and creating individualized development plans and ensuring access to relevant learning opportunities and completion.
- Actively promote a culture of continuous learning and growthby coaching employees on career progression and collaboration with Learning and Development.
- Foster high levels of employee engagement within the department through regular recognition efforts, team building activities, open communication, feedback sessions and initiatives that reinforce Yanfeng values and promote work-life balance.
- Serve as a coach and mentor to team leaders to enhance motivation, retention and job satisfaction.
- Plan the organization's objectives in the short, medium and long term.
- Analyze financial reports and control systems for decision-making.
- Lead management reviews ofthe different Management Systems of the Organization.
- Coordinate and be responsible for the activities corresponding to the implementation and monitoring of quality systems andIOS.
- Assist plant manager with direct contact with customers to ensure thattheir expectations are met.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Comply with safety metrics (accidentrate and lost time)
- Ensure the operation of the Occupational Health and Safety Systems based on OHSAS 18001-2007 and the Environmental Management System based on ISO14001-2015
- Comply with the requirements mentioned in the Safety, Health and EnvironmentAdministration procedure
Level of Education Required
Area of study: Engineering or related, financial experience, quality, processes.
*Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.
Required Qualifications (Level ofExperience, Skills and Knowledge)
5-9 Minimum years of experience as an Operations’ Manager
10+ Minimum years of experience within the automotive industry
Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants that might require climbing, lifting, or confined space work.

- Knowledge of Six Sigma.
- IATF/16949 standard.
- Core Tools.
- Finance for non-Financiers.
- Green Belt / Black Belt.
- Knowledge in AIAG Quality Planning.
- Control Plan standard.
- APQP.
- FMEA.
- Knowledge of specific customerrequirements e.g. BIQ. CQC etc.
