Our Yanfeng International Corporate Social Responsibility Report is now available for download on our newly refreshed corporate website.

The report, which is based on the United Nations Global Compact’s (UNGC) 10 principles and four categories of labor principles, human rights, anti-corruption and the environment, highlights the company’s performance for 2021 in multiple areas of sustainability. Some of the key features include an overview of our sustainability strategy, environmental performance, talent management, diversity, equity and inclusion practices, supply chain, as well as how we are supporting our communities.

“Every year, we continue to further accelerate our progress in all areas of sustainability,” said Gunnar Buechter, VP of Sustainability for Yanfeng International. “While we continue to reach new milestones, a focus and commitment to sustainability is not new to us. We have been integrating sustainability into our products, processes and facilities for decades.”

Yanfeng’s key accomplishments highlighted in the report include:

• Converting our European and South African plants to renewable energy, with a clear path for other regions. To date, our plants in China have converted to 20% green energy buy.
• Global procurement of 3,735,160 kg recycled materials.
• A total of 348,000 square meters of solar panels used globally
• Verification of our 2021 carbon footprint data by KPMG
• Reducing our carbon footprint and receiving an A-minus rating from CDP and an A rating in supplier performance.
• Achieving sustainable product milestones: we have 5 million CHyM door panels on the road today.
