Functions:

• Design, develop, approve, and deliver component/finished goods packaging with a total land cost solution mindset and with focus on quality and ergonomics/safety throughout the supply chain for launching programs.
• Utilize Yanfeng Packaging Engineering systems and process to support the various Yanfeng teams
• Facilitate and recommend packaging solutions based on current automotive industry best practices and Yanfeng best in class packaging standards
• Review, investigate, and implement packaging solutions for total land costand quality improvements for existing programs.

Education: 

Industrial Engineer or similar

Work Experience:

• 8 years plus Automotive Packaging Engineering Experience
• Experience with Packaging Engineering design software or CAD systems
• A degree in packaging or related area is highly desirable
• Strong multi-tasking skills, comfortable working on several projects simultaneously
• Detail oriented, hands on and strong organizational skills
• Team oriented and goal oriented with ability to self-direct and self-motivate
• Leadership, interdependent partnering and conflict & change management skills
• Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoftoffice
• Travel: 20% to 30% depending on demand
