Main Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute automation projects in regard to logistics and material handling like AGVs, AMR, FMR, 4-way shuttle cards, automatic warehouse, conveyors
   1. develop automation ideas in our production plants
   2. Identify opportunities to improve our efficiency
   3. Increase of storage density in our production and warehouse areas
   4. prepare business case calculation to show the potential payback period of an investment
   5. prepare and support the decision making process to our leadership
   6. execute approved projects as a project Lead and follow-up on the guidelines and timing
   7. build cross-functional team in the plants to support the execution on-site
   8. build-up the knowledge in the plants and ensure that the plant team are capable to keep the system up and running
2. Simulation
   1. Integrate and use simulation software to identify andoptimize non-value-added work
   2. Identify opportunities to improve our capacity utilization on our existing Equipment
3. Layout development and material flow optimization
4. ensure in-time and quality of team deliverables
5. Identifying opportunities for new BBPs and share across our plants
6. Provides automation related KPIs

Common Requirements: 

1. Business Operating System (BOS): Understand, apply and meetall function-related BOS requirements.
2. Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Understand, apply and meet all function related EHS requirements.
3. Product Safety: Understand, apply and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements.
4. Compliance: Understand, applyand meet all function-related Compliance requirements
5. Information Security: Understand, apply and meet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI informationrequirements.

Specific Requirements: 

Education:                 

• Degree in Engineering (mechanicalor industrial) or other equivalent technical education

Work Experience: 

• Min. 3 years’ experience as a Manufacturing, Industrial Engineer, Logistic planner ortechnician on multiple technologies
• OEM, Tier One or Equipment supplier work experience (preferably automotive)
• MS Office skills + Autocad/2D CAD Software
• Project lead skills
• YFIMS/ Lean manufacturing
• Plastics process or assembly experience 
• Equipment & tool specification, selection, purchasing and installation and start up
• Reporting on project issues, findings and measures
