Job Description

Summary of position

In this position you will report to Sales Director, and you will coordinate and be responsible for all Sales activities regarding defined projects and daily business as well as continuous improvement of customer relations and mutual informationflow.

We are seeking for a solid Sales professional with strong customer management and negotiations skills and passion for results, customer, and products. Someone who drivesquotations decisively as an impactful communicator, provide transparency, technical knowledge, and co-operation within our organization. Coordinating internally, understanding customer requirements, and implementing internally accordingly within the department. Excellent customer manager who adaptsmanagement style to situations and individuals. Strong costing understanding, ability to explain complexity internal, coordinating, international mind-set, open minded.

Main focus will be set up quotations in co-operation with Engineering, Costing, Purchasing and Operations as well as order negotiations in detail:

Main responsibilities

 

  • Control yearly negotiations and generate Customer cost break downs
  • Align cost break downs with customer, define gaps to expectations and define target to the SDT team 
  • Ensure that quotes are send in time to the customer and guarantee actual status of piece price lists
  • Prepare QBPA presentations and present to Management
  • Collaborate within project SDT’s
  • Provision and updating of information for:
  • Customer organization, Purchasing strategies, Technical development, Customer contacts 
  • Developmentand taking care of business contacts to all customer departments
  • Collection and analysisof information / data regarding customer satisfaction as well as initiation and follow up of improvement measure
  • Active communication regarding potential improvements / innovations regardingproducts and processes (towards customer; internal)
  • Collaborate regarding BU Sales strategy

Education / Experiences

  • Degree Business Administration, or equivalent with 5 years in Sales Management or experience as development engineer with high ambitious to Sales 
  • experience within Automotive Industry, good network in the environment of interieur product and customer BMW
  • Commercial / technical knowledge
  • Openmind set to work within international and multicultural environment. 
  • Understandingfor production / quality processes within Automotive Industry
  • German and English fluent isa must
