Job Description

Attend Daily Shift Start Up Meetings.
• Process and assemble components tocustomer approved standards.
• Follow written procedures (ODS), monitor quality and communicateproduction and quality issues to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Ensure health, safety and 5Spolicies and standards are followed. Report any unsafe conditions to Supervisor immediately.
•Inspect components and parts and report any quality issues to Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Move or transfer components and parts to workstations from racks, boxes, carousals, etc.
• Join parts using screws, rivets, clips, welders, etc.
• Secure fasteners with manual, hydraulic, and electric tools.
• Apply adhesive appliques, gaskets, etc.
• Trim components and parts usinga utility knife or other type of trimming device per ODS.
• Assembly equipment – loading, unloading and properly using Poke Yoke equipment.
• Apply labels correctly to components and packaged parts.
• Inspection of components, defect recognition, and material recognition and containas necessary.
• Select the packaging of the goods and ensure the goods are packaged professionally.

 Manage the quarantine stock and receipt of goods.
• Manage and record the data of the receipt notes.
• Additional duties as may be assigned.

Required Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge

1 -3 Minimum Years of Manufacturing Experience.
Less Than 1 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
• Previous experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to remain organized and focused.
• Schedule flexibility is necessary for this role as mandatory overtime may be required due to changing and last-minute customer demands.
• Ability to work under pressure to tight time scales.
• Ability tocommunicate at all levels efficiently.
