Job Description

Coordinates development of quality compliance standards.

Develops standards and reports.

Conducts/ensures Internal auditing

Utilizes methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation of products.

Utilizes gage repeatability, reproductively, bias, and linearity studies to monitor accuracy of testingequipment.

Ensures compliance to IATF16949 (International Automotive Task Force) Certification standard (previously TS16949)

Is designated/certified Product Safety Officer (PSB) for Volkswagen (VW) parts.

Coordinates activities related to the team for completing Capability(Cp) studies and Measuring System Analysis (MSA) Studies.

Coordinates Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities of team.

Ensures compliance to Engineering Change/Process Change procedures

Create PPAP/PSO (Production Part Approval Process/Process Sign Off) submission packages for carryovers, new colors, and tooling changes

Coordinate dimensional studies at internal and/or corporate lab.

Review supplier PPAP packages and implement corrective action packages as necessary

Maintain ISO 14001 standards

Inspect and track incoming colorant readings.

Works with customers and vendors on quality related issues.

Identify and record problems related to product, process, and quality systems and recommend solutions.

Maintain calibrationdatabase

Part of Problem solving processes utilizing variousmethodologies like 8D, 5 Why, 5P and Kepner Tregoe.

Create Operator/Packaging instructions manual standards, Procedures and Forms

Lead Development of Quality Systems and Quality Audits.

Functions as the primary point of contact for the Operation in responding to critical Customer issues, Quality Key Measure performances and other “Customer Specific “initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

Leadership/managementexperience in or outside of Yanfeng

5+ years of experience in Quality or production functions

Specific education and training in Quality disciplines including, at a minimum;

ISO/TS16949, Continuous Improvement, Total Quality Management, PPAP, FMEA,

Control Plans, SPC

Competent in conflict resolution and project management

Full proficiency in basic leadership skills and fundamentalquality engineering concepts,

practices, and procedures

Able to teach and mentor in advanced statistical concepts, and problemsolving

methodology
