Lead the team of Engineers / Technicians to develop seat structures and/or component according to the requirements book of the customer.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Review technical proposal andmake decisions, and ensure designs meet DFM (Design for Manufacturability) needs
  2. Conduct test/ FEA failures analysis and make optimization plan, and address problems with engineered solutions (FEA, DFM, DFMEA, Design Analysis, Calculations, Design Review)
  3. Drive optimized /cost effective solutions and support communication strategies
  4. Drive design standardization, and ensures global best practices are beingfollowed
  5. Ensure program timing deliverables are being met
  6. Communicate withcustomer to align technical topics
  7. Support sales team during the acquisition phase regarding engineering topics
  8. Manage suppliers in engineering field
  9. Support plant production activity, especially EU plants
  10. Provide guidance to Engineers / Technicians

Requirements:

  1. Education background: Engineering Bachelor’s degree above
  2. Working experience:
    • 8 years in automotive industry including 5 years seat development experience in the seat structure environment
    • Familiar with engineering tools, such as GD&T, CAD, UG/CATIA, DFMEA etc.
    • Team management experience preferred
  3. Personality and soft skills:
    • Highmotivation, team work, logical thinking, pressure containment, with strong communication skills
    • Comply withthe requirements of the company values
    • Comply with the requirements of LCM (Leadership Competency Model)
  4. Fluent in English and German
  5. Able to work in a multicultural and international environment
  6. Valid German work and residence permit
