Logistics Analyst (Supplier Scheduler)

Job Description

  • Determine material requirements in accordance with production plans and customer needs anddisposition of all purchased parts of each project via ERP system.  
  • Inventorycontrol and securing availability of materials for production. 
  • Communication with suppliers, initiate special transportation, planning inventory, clarifying debit balances. 
  • Tracking and reporting on deliveries / backorders from suppliers. 
  • Data entriesin ERP system. 
  • Coordinating work-flow between goods receipt department, production and shipping. 
  • Coordinate material pick up form suppliers or storage warehouse.  
  • Manage Inventory levels according to profit plan. 
  • Support materialplanning for new launch and build out.

  • Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels. 
  • Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote)

Specific Requirements

Required Education:  Bachelor's Level Degree in Supply Chain Management or Similar.  *Equivalent work experience may also beconsidered.

Required Qualifications:  1 - 5 years Minimum Years of Experience.  Less than 1 minimum years of experience within the automotive industry.  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excel skills. 
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Detailed oriented. 
  • ERP Experience
