Job Description

We are looking for a motivated team member in the engineering sector for our business unitYanfeng Automotive Interiors.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

• Takes responsibility for all individual events and work products related to launching the annualmodel year or individual product changes

• Plans and executes key work products as defined in the BOS 

• Ensures fulfillment of all program goals related to product launches 

• Acts as a key liaison between SDT functions to achieve program goals on time, within planned costs, quality, and manufacturing feasibility

• Coordinates activities related to model year changes/product implementation and collaborates with functional managers to identify training needs and develop training plans 

• Ensures program compliance with BOS 

• Ensures product launch and reporting activities are in accordance with PLUS

• Ensures understanding and utilization of MEQ standards 

• Develops launch plan for model year changes and maintains schedule of activities, activity checklist, and open issues list to ensure program achieveskey development milestones set by customers, internally defined work products, and engineering activity deadlines, in line with factory launch activity schedule 

• Cost management 

• Calculates and prepares costs for product change implementation together with plant manager 

• Manages costs for product change implementation in line with program budget 

• Ensures proper product change management according to CA/CN process 

• Coordinatesdelivery of all pre-production parts (prototypes, PV pilot versions) 

• Conducts production control 

• Ensures readiness of production facility 

• Acts as key liaison between CBU sector for program management, engineering, procurement (supplier definition), and other operations to ensure product readiness through assembly process planning and production feasibility 

• Compiles product launch report together with plant manager 

• Compiles plan for increasing required quantities and production deadlines for specific product version forcustomer 

• Ensures necessary approval for product change management and its implementation process in the factory 

• Ensures all necessary quality control documentation (PFMEA, control plan) is completed and internally approved, as well as approved by the customer 

• Ensures advanced quality control/PPAP planning, including customer approval and program processapproval

 

Requirements:

 

• 6th or 7th level of mechanical or technical qualification

• Proficiency in English is mandatory 

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment 

• Engineering/process experience 

• Program management experience 

• Quality management (PPAP/APQP) experience
