Engineer, Customer Quality (Seating)

Job Description

1. Support customer onsite with problem solving and issue analysis.
2. Provide quick response/action and containment at customer site. Be available after-hours for urgent issues at customer-site.
3. Manage third party when sort is open. Achieve sort completion objectives.
4. Understand customer assembly process to help YF team. Anticipate customer assembly risk and provide timely information to YF team.
5. Evaluate customer request and execute/implement. ( example, Customer inventory count)
6. Build relationship with different customer function (Production, quality, process, SIE, Engineering, commercial, Material, QI, logistic, MRB)
7. Keep good communication withcustomer for all complaints reported and provide timely 8-D by YF team.
8. Follow YF and customer key meetings on engineering, new projects and program management and quality. (Give insights to YFteam on customer-site situation for YF benifit.)
9. Master customer portal for SCAR/QPF information management and issue closure.
10. Negociate SCAR opening with customer by providing properanalysis and facts.
11. Avoid SCRAP/reject cost at customer site by repair/negociation/relationship.
12. Provide 5W-2H to YF team in case of customer issue and follow RCA and CAPA with YF teamuntil issue closed.
13. Support AQE team for PPAP completion.
14. Working closely and coordinate actions with YF plant quality, process, AQE, material and program team for any topic related to customer.
15. Agree on the return mode of rejectedparts and organize the return work of after-sales parts.
16. Track the effectiveness of breakpoints for measures that have been executed. Coordinate ECR break-points with YF team and provide information to customer.
17. Provide regularinformation to YF team about customer feedback and voice. (Anticipate and escalate customer risk forYF benefit if necessary)
18. Create win-win situation for YF and Customer.
