Essential Functionsof Job:
Supervisory Capacity: No Supervisory Responsibilities
• Understandinternal and external customer design requirements.
• Create design.
• Communicate design.
• Validate design.
• Launch product.
• Utilize PRP to guide Launch Process.
• Capture lessons learned.
• Develop tactical plans to meet deliverables.
• Deliver design within engineering budget and BOM cost targets.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively both internally and externally.
• Apply structured problem-solving methods for issue resolution.
• Manage program risk

Specific Requirements
Required Education Level Bachelor's Level Degree
Area of Study: mechanical engineering, or equivalent degree in a technical field (manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, materials science, industrial & operations, etc.)
*Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.
Required Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge)
1 -3 Minimum Years of Experience in automotive interiors.
1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry
Must be able and willing to travel and work at customersites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or workingin confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge)
• Experience leading programs with full engineering responsibility.
• Good PC-Skills (Word, Excel, MS Project).
