Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Engineer who will be responsible for implementing and maintaininga world-class Quality Management System (QMS) and driving continuous quality improvement in our plant in Kragujevac, Serbia.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of all Production Department deliverables to MEQ quality standards (e.g., RPPM, CPPM, IPPM, SPPM, Quality Control Costs, Customer ProductAudits, and Warranty / JD Power results).
- Responsible for ensuring that quality control issues identified either by customers or internally are resolved using corporate problem-solving methodologies (8D Report, Problem Solving Document (PSD), PCAD, Kepner-Tregoe, etc.).
- Prepares the necessary corrective and preventive actions and performs the monitoring, verification, and approval of corrective actions.
- Responsible for ensuring that all quality control activities are carried out in accordance with BOS, TS 16949, ISO 9000, IATF standards, and customer-specific requirements.
- Represents the plant within the SDT team for the program and is responsible for ensuring the execution of plant-related PRP tasks.
- Managesthe execution of the customer part approval process and is responsible for obtaining customer approval.
- Maintains and controls customer part approval documentation.
- Maintains customer-approved part samples.
Requirements
- Level 6 or Level 7 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Basic knowledge of IATF, QS9000, Continuous Improvement, Total Quality Management (TQM), PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, DOE, and SPC.
- Preferred experience in the automotive industry.
- Preferred experience in a quality-related role.
