Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
BD- Engineering, International Relations, Commercial Trade, BA or any major related
Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classification,and trade compliance programs.
Experience with automotive parts, bills of materials (BOMs),and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and customs management software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
English conversational skills proficient- MUST

· Automotive industry expertise it´s a must for this position.
· It’s difficult to access to the Plant- for this reason it´s important that the candidatemust have her/ his own transportation or another alternative to get to this site.
·Nowadays the company is unable to give support relocation- for foreign candidates
Experience minimum 4 years in automotive industry (must) as Customs Analyst.
Ensure compliance with customs laws, regulations, and trade agreements (e.g., USMCA, WTO, localcustoms regulations).
Classify automotive parts, components, and vehicles using the Harmonized System (HS) codes.
Prepare, review, and submit import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
Coordinatewith customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government authorities to resolve clearance issues.
Monitor duty payments, exemptions, drawbacks, and preferential tariff programs.
Conductinternal audits to ensure accuracy of customs filings and compliance processes.
Support supply chain and manufacturing teams with trade compliance guidance.
Track regulatory changes andassess their impact on automotive imports/exports.
Manage Free Trade Agreement (FTA) qualification and origin analysis for automotive products.
Investigate and resolve customs discrepancies, penalties, or compliance violations.
Maintain accurate records in accordance with legalretention requirements.
Working closely with customs agents to complete declarations and resolve queries - Working closely with various departments to ensure all relevant
Customs declaration documents are correctly completed within the necessary timeframe
Act as the process owner for the Broker Referral process, ensuring timely and compliant import entries
Measurebroker performance against internal business rules and compliance standards.
